Andrea Marquez is a Mexican-American, Host and Sr. Producer of Amazon’s award-winning podcast, This is Small Business.
She joined Amazon as a Senior Story Producer to help bring additional resources and tools to aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners. Recently, Andrea was named one of the Nation's Hispanic 30 Under 30 Leaders due to her work empowering the Latinx community through storytelling, as well as her volunteer work as a board member of the Patient Empowerment Network helping provide resources for cancer patients and their caregivers. Previously, she worked at the Hispanic Communications Network where she developed, produced, and hosted a podcast dedicated to empowering the Latinx community called LatinEQUIS for which she won two industry awards and led health campaigns dedicated to inform the Spanish-speaking community in the U.S. about COVID in partnership with Pfizer, the CDC, and other health organizations.
As a podcaster, she has had the honor of interviewing inspiring leaders like Ellen Ochoa, Sonia Manzano, Enrique Acevedo, Senator Bob Menendez, Government officials, artists, and more. She has more than 10 years of production experience and holds an M.A. in Journalism and Legal Studies from Harvard University and a B.A. from Columbia University.
